From what I understand and have read, yes; Fate Stay Night (2006), Fate Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (the 2010 movie and the 2014 series), and the three movies of Fate Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel are all the same event (the 2004 Fuyuki Holy Grail War) with different endings.
Which is better to watch Fate Stay Night or Unlimited Blade Works?
Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works is both a series and a movie, both telling the same story in very different timeframes. The series is the superior choice here without question and if you want to take in as much of the Fate world as possible then go for this.
