What color counters blue MTG?
1. Red Elemental Blast/Pyroblast. These twins do almost exactly the same thing, either countering a blue spell or destroying a blue permanent. Both are excellent effects for one mana at instant speed, either thwarting a blue play or removing a blue threat.

Is blue overpowered MTG?

You may use a tap ability at instant speed, so as long as the cost is payed and the creature does NOT have summoning sickness you may use the ability whenever you have priority.
Can you Unequip artifact MTG?
You can’t unequip something without equipping it to something else because the equip ability requires a target.
Can I block with protection from everything?
As you noted, a creature with protection from something can’t be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, enchanted, or equipped by anything that has that “something” quality. That quality is usually one or more colors.
