The one criticism I have with the GT-1, compared with other alternatives from Zoom or Digitech, is the GT-1 doesn’t have drum rhythms. It does have a metronome and that is useful, but not nearly as useful (or fun/inspiring) as a drum track.

- On the GT-001 press [TUNER] and use the SILVER VALUE KNOB above [EXIT] and [ENTER]
- USE KNOB A to adjust METRONOME TEMPO.
- USE KNOB B to adjust METRONOME BEAT/TIME SIGNATURE.
- USE KNOB C to turn ON/OFF the METRONOME: Counter Clockwise = OFF, Clockwise = ON.
Is GT1000 required?
The bottom line is it’s valuable for some students and unnecessary for others. GT1000 should remain the way it is now—strongly encouraged, but ultimately left up to each student to decide whether or not they should take it.
